Machu Picchu with Lima 08 Days Tour (03 Days Lima/05 Days Cusco)

Day 1: Larco Archaeological Museum Or Callao Monumental Tour

At your arrival to Lima International Airport Jorge Chavez, one of our agents will pick you up and transfer you to your Hotel.  If you arrive during day time, we will start with the Tour to Larco Archaeological Museum and/or Callao Monumental Tour. This tour finishes at 6 pm approximately.

Day 2 Lima City Tour Full-Day

We’ll pick you up from your Hotel around 9:00 am and head to Lima, so you can enjoy your Lima City Tour Full-Day:

• Plaza Mayor (Plaza de Armas). Visit to the Cathedral of Lima and Museum built in 1535, and has undergone many reconstructions and transformations since.  It retains its colonial structure and facade. It is dedicated to St John, Apostle and Evangelist. The old sacristy and the adjoining rooms house the Religious Art Museum of the Cathedral of Lima.
• Take pictures around Plaza Mayor and its old water fountain that was also built in 1535. Be ready to watch the changing of the President’s Guard at Government Palace.  This takes place every day from 12:00 to 12:15 and it’s compared to the one at Buckingham Palace.
• Visit to Chocolate Museum, where you will watch the process of how the bean to chocolate bar is made step by step, beginning with the pods being cut down from the trees and split open.
• Visit to Convent of San Francisco, Museum and Catacombs. It is the Spanish name for Saint Francis Monastery. The church and convent are part of the Historic Center of Lima, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991.
• L U N C H at 1 pm.
• After lunch, we will move to the modern area of Lima, San Isidro. Panoramic View of Huaca Huallamarca, which is an Adobe Pyramid archaeological site that was built in 200 BC and its main original purpose was to serve as a place for worshipping for the tribes of the Lima Culture.
• Visit to Huaca Pucllana, located in the district of Miraflores. It’s a great adobe and clay pyramid built from seven staggered platforms. It served as an important ceremonial and administrative center for the advancement of the Lima Culture, a society that developed on the Peruvian Central Coast between the 8^th and 12^th Centuries before the Inca Civilization.
• Panoramic view of Miraflores and next stop will be Parque Del Amor with its surrounding areas
• We will stop by Mall Larcomar and take some pictures of this unique Mall built on a cliff with a beautiful beach view. Drive back to Hotel.

Day 3 Free Day for shopping and/or walking around

Pick up from Hotel and drive you to International Airport Jorge Chavez to take your flight to Cusco.

Day 4 Half-Day City Tour in Cusco

At your arrival to Cusco Airport, one of our agents will be waiting to transfer you to your Hotel.  After noon, you will be picked up from your hotel and we will start our half-day Cusco City Tour which will finish around 6 pm.

Day 5 Valle Sagrado, Pisak, Ollantaytambo

We start this Tour to Sacred Valley picking you up from your hotel around 9 am.  We will arrive at Pisac, an archaeological center, composed of platforms, impressive agricultural terraces all over the place, aqueducts, and domestic structures.  Then we’ll visit Ollantaytambo and when finished, you’ll be transferred to your hotel at 6 pm approximately.

Day 6 Machu Picchu

We’ll pick you up around 4 am and start your Full Day Tour to Machu Picchu.  We’ll drive you in our tourist bus to Ollantaytambo train station, so you can take the train to Aguas Calientes, where our Guide will be waiting for you to walk you to the Bus that will take you to Machu Picchu and finally you’ll start walking to the top of the mountain, which usually takes about 30 minutes.  When finished exploring Machu Picchu, you’ll go down to Bus Station and drive to Aguas Calientes to have lunch, shop or walk around until it’s time to take the train back to Ollantaytambo.  Then our Bus will drive you back to your hotel and will arrive around 8 pm.

Day 7 Humantay Lake or Rainbow Mountain

Depending on which tour you decide to take this day, Rainbow Mountain or Lake Humantay, we’ll make the necessary arrangements so you can enjoy one of these beautiful places.

Day 8 Free Day

This is your free day to go shopping or take the last photos for your memories.  Depending on the time of your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Airport in Cusco so you can take your flight back to Lima International Airport.
